Was injured (per Injury Room) but should be back for our next game.

? Don't think so. PV made it clear he was unavailable for personal reasons (which is assumed to have been the death of his father). I think he's back in training so should be available for the Spurs game.

Well, Doombear got it spot on & he was pictured on the clubs website training at Beckenham along with the rest of the squad, last week. Whether he gets picked or is on the bench for our next game will be down to PV.

 

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

At 30 he is one of our older players whereas last season at 29 he was a spring chicken!!!

His father passed away and because of Covid protocals it was more than just "popping" back home to sort out family affairs. He is back now and in training.

Good news to hear he is back training. Lets hope he is focused and ready to fight for his place.
He may have been disappointing last year but hopefully PV can sort him out and get him back to his best.
Also the competition should bring out the best in him - if not I think PV will be ruthless enough to move him and others out the door.

Glad to see he is back training. Just not sure if he will get back in the team now, especially given our new tactics. Passing is not one of his strong points and with competition for places in all areas I would think he is behind a few players. Will Hughes will also be pushing for a place too..

 

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.
