Well done Hannah Dingley - the first female manager of a men's league side. Forest Green Rovers: vegan, carbon neutral so I suppose it was natural in the order of things for them to do it first.

I'm surprised this isn't headline news on the BBC. Good luck to her managing at that level with no finances is a tough gig.

Yes, very good luck to her - I suspect she wont be the last especially at the lower league level. It would be interesting to see how an established coach - like Sarina Wiegman - would do at a higher level. I suspect we might find, in time, that the skills are very transferrable between the men's and women's game. As an aside, I was amazed FGR gave Duncan Ferguson a 5 year contract. Now he is gone after 6 months - something strikes as decidedly odd about the situation.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Sounds like a right buch of lefty weirdos . Whats wrong with a 14oz Steak and making carbon for plants to eat ? Appointing a female manager is the last of their worries though I dont see it as a step forward myself either for football or womens recognition in mens sport .

a Thai lady boy as manager - yes that would be a story, would Forest Green go that far? Brighton might, but De Zerbi looks pretty settled atm.

I think that Sarina Wiegman would make an excellent club manager in a higher league than Forest Green.
