Frustrating game this. Ultimately unlucky i think. That Benteke pen miss was crucial. So we have dropped 3points from pen misses this season: 1pt today, and 2 following Cabaye's miss v Bournemouth. Not disastrous. But let this not spark off a slump of poor form.

Not a great game but Cabaye has perhaps realised he needs to up his game to warrant a place and Mandanda played well. The rest? Meh.

That performance was totally unacceptable. No real pressure on them at all until the last few minutes and that was with considerable help from the ref. Benteke and Townsend both awful. Wickham had our only decent effort right at the end. An hour one before our first shot on target and that was with an pen FFS.

And West Ham have been shipping two and a half goals per game.

Improvement required - immediately.
