Yeah, your quite right, would have been a lot in a week, about 30 in fact according to the stats i looked up, he was manager of us for about 9 months, very low win ratio, hence the sack, he does dislike us though.

Apparently, Connor out for yet another month with a hamstring injury sustained in a warm up.
So injury prone now,cannot see him returning to first team action this particular season.
Fingers crossed he will make a full recovery and surprise us all with his goals when he gets back.

The premier is one of the most challenging leagues in the world on players bodies. Sky and BT commentators have even created a new word they regularly use ......... ‘physicality’.
Sadly, CW’s body is not up to this league. The physical demands the premier puts on players bodies is blatantly way beyond CW.
The sooner the club and all of us and of course CW, accept this, the sooner he can drop down a league or two physically and start enjoying life again.
In his shoes, I would consider abroad, but his problem now will be finding any club to take him.
Maybe the solution would be loan to say a division one team with us subsidising his wages. There’s is no way we will renew his contract so we need to help him step down once he finds his fitness again rather than pushing him back into the premier cauldron that frankly his body cannot take.

Always liked Connor as a player but, sadly, its time we take "old biscuit legs" out of the squad to free up a place for another forward. He is just never going to get fit, time for the team to move on.
