An interesting stat given in the commentary is that we have only won one game in the last 3 years when we have been behind at half-time.

The rebuild can't come soon enough. Ironically the area in which we were supposed to be strong (defence) is our obvious weakness. To the contrary we have a variety of attacking options but not the manager who can deliver on that particular front.

This playing for a contract stuff is rubbish. No one does that. It’s made up by fans. He’s playing well and scoring because he’s finally being trusted as our main striker with a string of starts. And we’re finally putting the ball in the box for him. It’s really not rocket science.

He's been given more starts for somebody who has been ineffectual than any player should be given. Roy has had nothing but faith in the player. It's only recently he's done much useful although he still misses a bagful of chances and doesn't create a mass of chances. As already stated, what has he done for the previous 2 years?
