We all have our opinion of Wayne as you do so give up trying to justify your opinion and run down ours down at the same time.
We get it you like Wayne in goal and some of us do not that is our prerogative. we have stated our views and you have stated yours so lets give it a rest and move on to who our new number 1 goalkeeper will be when he arrives at our club in the near future and support him.

I commented that SM got behind the ball well. Doesn't make him my hero. I was hoping that if we gave him the benefit of the doubt that he might turn out to be as good as he clearly has been in his career, prior to joining us. How good he could have been for us? We'll never know.

I don't recall anyone proclaiming Wayne as good or great , I/we all just say he is not as bad as you and others make out(i.e not cr@p) , but as soon as anyone says that you and others translate it as Wayne is great / world class .
Most do indeed think he is just an average / decent goalkeeper and try and support him against the OTT criticism post by the people who don't like him mainly because he replaced Speroni.
The debate continues because those who think he is rubbish because of the above , will not not rest until we all say he is rubbish.
You now agree with me that he is average which TBF is good enough for CPFC until we can afford significantly better for a reasonable price, and as you know that seems to be easier said than done.

No one will win the argument against you BG as you twist everything round into some kind of personal attack on you .

That won't happen because that will be people's opinion and everyone will be different. We know your opinion why keep repeating ?
He shouldn't have been dropped when he was for Hennessy. He was still the better keeper but because political reasons AP dropped him like he did with Jedi. I'm over that now though and just think that Hennessy isn't good enough.

We all know Wayne makes mistakes .

Yes we do but it's his overall weak presence in goal that annoys me. Every time the opposition shoot or get one on one I just accept that it's going to go in. I've never had that with a Palace goal keeper before and shouldn't be having that feeling when we face some of the best players in the world week in week out.

We all know we would like a top class keeper , but who and for how much that would be significantly better? Look how good McCarthy and Mandanda turned out. We obviously needed to invest a lot more.
