There is no doubt that Speroni has been a great servant to club. However like others I think WH hate is more based on him replacing Speroni rather than other factors. Statistically there is very little between them over career there is very little to seperate them. Hennessy 281 games 74 clean sheets 26% Speroni 388 games 106 clean sheets 27%. I don't think Hennessy is the best Goalkeeper we have had but he a long way from being worst as well. The defence as a whole last year was very poor and they should all be blamed not just WH

BUT I have not mentioned Jules in my last posts so why bring him into it or is it just to keep this thread going. I will say it again NOT all posters think as highly of Wayne as you do so why go and bring other issues in to it and then call me an unpleasant person because I think differently to you on Wayne. If anyone is unpleasant it is you as you just will not accept mine and other peoples views are different to yours!!
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
