Wagner is to be offered a £2.5 million a year contract for getting Shuddersfield to the Prem. That'll be hard for him to turn down. We paid Sam 2 mill for 5 months, doesn't exactly price us out

I'm NOT going to comment on the speculation regarding so called "Targets" but rest assured if the final choice is NOT to my liking I will let Parish know in no uncertain terms what I think, just like a certain person currently at the club let his views known to Jordan when Francis was appointed. By that you mean you will post angrily on these boards, or maybe the BBS.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Sean Dyche for me. Young for a manager, plays a brand of football similar to allardyce and knows how to get success from limited resources. We have a better squad then Burnley and a lot more attacking flair, so may work well with dyche at the helm. Well at least you came up with a reason for wanting him. I wish other posters would explain their thinking behind who they do or do not want. In fact this should be mandatory.

Assuming Benitez can't be budged: Jokanovic - technically best Agreed. Also wonder if Wagner would make dealing with Liverpool and signing Sakho slightly easier than last years bitter dealings for Benteke. Wagnors links with Klop might make future loan deals between us easier to negotiate as well. Just a thought.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Gary Monk' by Guntrisoft This post has been merged from a topic called 'It's going to be garry monk' by Guntrisoft I'm afraid garry monk is destined to be the next palace manager. why? the answer may surprise you. After dougie freedman, the palace managers have, in sequential order, become progressively better. No, not in terms of managerial ability, but in terms of their hair/hairstyle. Think about it. First was holloway, who had none, then pulis, who had a very sparse amount, then warnock, whose hair troubles are well-documented, then pardew, who had decent style but all grey, and finally allardyce, whose classic side part was an improvement on pardew's pompous quiff.

I'm sure Parrish was surprised by Big Sam leaving but given the revolving door we've had I doubt he's taken his eye off the ball re potential managers - there'll be other Marco Silva's out there and we may get a surprise - people may think I've lost my senses but I'd take a punt on Kenny Jackett, I reckon he'd handle the prem soon enough and is better than some prem managers already, by that I mean Mark Hughes.
