I think you must’ve watched a different game. People saw him hit the back of the net and automatically equate it to him being good. He also missed an absolute sitter in the game. His hold up play is sloppy, control is poor and he lacks the intelligence required for a striker at the highest level.

Will he bag a couple of goals? Yeah probably. Looking at the bigger picture will he improve us as a team? Doubtful.

2 runners (Ayew/Zaha) in the Townsend/Zaha system of last season should be tested when Wilf is fit.
