Roy needs to sort this out this has been a problem for long time us being so poor at the starts of each half. Benteke is waste of time get him off

The problem is we're not playing to Benteke's strengths. Playing straight balls up to him at head height doesn't work. We need to get the ball wide and cross it and stop all the intricate s*** round the edge of the box - just like Southampton are doing.

People saw him hit the back of the net and automatically equate it to him being good. He also missed an absolute sitter in the game. His hold up play is sloppy, control is poor and he lacks the intelligence required for a striker at the highest level. Will he bag a couple of goals? Yeah probably. Looking at the bigger picture will he improve us as a team? Doubtful. 2 runners (Ayew/Zaha) in the Townsend/Zaha system of last season should be tested when Wilf is fit.

Benteke didn't play against the U23 side. If you think Sorloth is the answer, he isn't otherwise would be playing him. And if you think Benteke is worth continuing with after 3 goals in a whole season (cost 30m, get's paid 120k a week to score goals) then it's time to move the goalposts

I hate being right in these circumstances but :- taken from Southampton prediction .....Hughes playing mind games in his presser saying Danny Ings might not play against palace ... yeah right ! I reckon he’ll play and probably score result ending 0-1
