What about when people are moved/seats altered due to the stadium redevelopment?

Not a fair comparison.

Also like to hear your views if you were one of the fans being moved.

For the record they will be missed but wish they could grow up and reach a reasonable settlement

They've 78 pages on "where will Zaha go next". They (i.e. those of NSC) are totally and utterly obsessed with Palace. It's their oxygen. They think of nothing else all day every day. They spend their days scouring the media for anything Palace-related. They are a bunch of wierdos.

Yes there is - each year provided you renew your ticket by a specific date then you are guaranteed the same seat every year

If there was redevelopment then the club would probably compensate. With this plan the HF wanted people in the seats they wanted simply moved somewhere else

It appears some season ticket holders think they are better than other and are attempting to bully them and the club.
The Fanatics may make a lot of noise and contribute to the atmosphere, but it doesn't give them the right to try and get people kicked out of their seats.
The club has taken the correct stance by telling them to do one. If they decide to leave in a hissy fit, up to them. I am sure Charlton and Millwall would be willing to accommodate them as they are desperate to fill seats.

I have a question. Have the HF got a spokesman? If So has any kind of a statement been made giving their point of view/reasons? Sorry, that's two questions.
I think its a shame that they decide to throw a hissy fit and walk out if that indeed is the case. True support is unconditional and unending (which will be provided by the rest of us).
They made lots of noise and added to the atmosphere but...I heard lots of accounts from different people in that area of the ground, many of whom don't know each other so cant be just copying that the HF have become disrespectful bullies towards other supports showing no regard for others and in some cases trying to intimidate.
No one has the right to ruin going to the game for anyone else no matter how big your flag is and how loud you sing so maybe its not such a bad thing they are gone. Certainly looks like they don't have the longevity of the rest of us anyway. For me, they wont be missed.

I wondered that and had a look when this thread started. They hadn't posted on their Twitter feed or Facebook page for months and I couldn't see anything on their website, although it's a pigs ear of a site so I could have missed it.

The seats in the centre of the lower Holmesdale are held mainly by long termers - I've been in block C since the day the stand opened. And probably stood there in my youth. To think the club would forcibly remove me from my seat to accommodate people who been going for 10 years is ridiculous.

I kind of agree but had there been a long-term agreement to move the HF to the centre (evolution?), would this still be a problem for you?

With respect ... I can't think of a worse place to view a game. Except perhaps behind the goal at the other end of the pitch? At that end it's impossible to see the big TV screen.

If course the "fanatics" should be treated exactly the same any one else who pays their hard earned cash for a season ticket.
I could put the case that I am a "fanatic"having hardly missed a home match since 1968.I don't jump up and down waving a flag. But I would certainly resent being told to move to accomodate somebody else because they might be noisier than me.
And I'm not so sure the HF have much influence over the team performance, our home record has been shocking over the past few seasons.

They apparently moved around the ground from Block B.

Mark my words..they will congregate behind the goal, officially or not, seats or no seats...with their flags, banners, drum and whatever. Piss off the season ticket holders there..it will kick off.
