When will Johnny ever learn. First ball after lunch - play straight, defend, soft hands. What is so difficult. Root will get stuck as ever trying to get the rest of them out of a mess.

Another test thriller. England somehow contrived a lead of 233 at the close with 2 wickets left. i still think England are 30/40 runs short, roughly the runs they shipped thru poor bowling at the start of the India 1st innings. A lead of 265/275 that is difficult historically. Sticking my neck out I think India will win. But hey IMO only, anything can happen !

This all depends on the conditions tomorrow. England's top order have failed once again in this match win or lose.....The whole set up from management through to personnel needs looking at. Whoops just when we though the DRS was as perfect as you could wish for. The third umpire thinks that Kohli has bat on ball but its not, its bat on pad, and he survives, not out lbw. Surely the DRS camera angles would show the third umpire that? Gripping stuff haven't a clue myself altho most think England.

A big moment for Joe Root captaining England to a series win against the number one side India. Getting the hang of it better and made a lot of good calls here. Not least putting himself and Stokes back in the slip cordon and posting a third man.
