If Benteke and Wickham are fit, how come neither has started a game yet? It's bollocks really, Wickham's been out 2 years and is going to be delicate to say the least. Tekkers has been injured numerous times in the last 2 seasons so he's unlikely to hit the ground running, and to say Ayew is full of confidence is clutching at straws lol. We're either skint or Parish and Co are just deluded. Our squad is massively short of numbers.

If Benteke and Wickham are fit, how come neither has started a game yet? It's bollocks really, Wickham's been out 2 years and is going to be delicate to say the least. We're not skint but they clearly believe we have enough to stay up, it's a gamble for sure. We're two or three injuries away from being in the sh!t. For thr record I think we'll stay up but I think it'll be closer this year than previous years.

Hi All, well Perri deal done as confirmed last week, Tosun will sign on loan with a view to a permanent deal by next Thursday. Expect one midfielder to sign a possibility that Bolaise could come back. Victor Moses was not signed due to wages but expect him to be a palace player for the start of next season. Hi All, well Perri deal done as confirmed last week, Tosun will sign on loan with a view to a permanent deal by next Thursday.

Expect one midfielder to sign a possibility that Bolaise could come back.

Victor Moses was not signed due to wages but expect him to be a palace player for the start of next season.

How sure are you of tosun signing before next week out of 10

On the basis that we get Tosun on loan this (along with Ayew) would have used up our allocation of two loans from this country. This would mean we could only buy Bolassie and I can’t see this happening at this stage. If we were to purchase him now it could give credence to the theory that Zaha may be off in the summer and we are planning for this eventuality.

Just watched the Parish interview on Palace tv. He said we’re ‘ trying to get one,or at a push two, over the line ‘ prior to the deadline. From press reports it looks like one of them could be Tosun or Bolassie and I see we’re also now being linked with a short term deal for Cabaye. This would tie in with Hodgson’s comments of requiring a midfielder and forward.

Just watched the Parish interview on Palace tv.
He said we’re ‘ trying to get one,or at a push two, over the line ‘ prior to the deadline.
From press reports it looks like one of them could be Tosun or Bolassie and I see we’re also now being linked with a short term deal for Cabaye.
This would tie in with Hodgson’s comments of requiring a midfielder and forward.

Personally I would love okasaki. No he hasn’t been in form but then if he were he wouldn’t be available At 32 he still has some legs in him.

As I posted in another thread We are not going to sign a centre forward in any event. Ayew is fit and Benteke and Wickham are just about there. Unless one of them is leaving in the next few days we are not going to carry 4 fit centre forwards in the squad for the rest of the season. We need a good no 10 and that will probably do in the short term. Long term we need to plan for LAW - life after Wilf - and sort out a more balanced squad with a cohesive game plan. In reply to Dazza - a decent midfield player with some guile would be nice and to be honest Bolasie would do fine on a loan for the rest of the season and if he performs then we might be able to sign him full time so he is there when Wilf goes next season. We are not going to sign a centre forward in any event.
Ayew is fit and Benteke and Wickham are just about there.
Unless one of them is leaving in the next few days we are not going to carry 4 fit centre forwards in the squad for the rest of the season.
We need a good no 10 and that will probably do in the short term.
Long term we need to plan for LAW - life after Wilf - and sort out a more balanced squad with a cohesive game plan.
