I noticed on another thread that others are convinced that right wing terror groups appear to be the biggest threat to UK democracy.

Total pain the arse the climate protestors. I actually agree with their cause but they put me off - it has a negative impact if anything. The UK is one of the leading countries for driving climate change. If they care as much as say they do, they are wasting their time here and should be preaching to Asia/US. The problem is that the world is too populated and it only continues to compound until action is taken. If families were limited to two children per couple the population wouldn't increase - I appreciate this would not be easy to police. Implement that globally for 50 years and reduce production/add tax to red meat & dairy and gradually phase out petrol cars in favour of electric - this will of course take longer is less developed countries. The increased natural disasters we are seeing are a concern and we should all be mindful of our own actions and the impact it has. Two veggie meals per week is a sensible starting point. Eh?

Over-population via people living longer is the real issue. People spending longer in retirement and having better (more expensive) medical facilities available to them. And talking of less resources, why aren't the UK police out catching murderers and burglars ? LBC reporter Charlotte Lynch said she was on a road bridge over the M25 in Hertfordshire on Tuesday. She said she was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a public nuisance, before being released The spokesman for Rishi Sunak said the prime minister believed it was "vital journalists are able to do their job". Hertfordshire's Chief Constable Charlie Hall said measures were now in place so legitimate media could carry out their reporting." (BBC website) The media are actually constructing the news, not reporting it impartially. Perhaps the next time Miss Lynch reports on a serious crime and reports on "lack of police", she should reflect on how her actions may have diverted police resources from more pressing issues to the community. I fail to understand how causing traffic jams and diverting traffic for many additional miles actually reduces pollution These idiots probably eat vegetables flown many hundreds/thousands of miles to their supermarkets and use electricity in their homes from nuclear or non-renewable sources. I think we should make eco-friendly jails for them. Let them sleep

I’ve been saying this for ages but got shouted down by the tree huggers. Net zero is a target which will never be reached but the upper echelons will persist in trying at the expense of 95% of the worlds population. The worst case rises in temperature are the figures used to implement the taxes we are all going to be hit with. This will impact the third world or poorest countries the most; ironically as their leaders can afford it. Maybe someone has done the maths and millions dying of starvation, cold or un payable health care for diseases is a price being looked at. The sooner people realise it’s all a big con the better. If Mother Earth gets the hump she will let us know. We cannot kill this planet artificially but it or another planet/ comet/ meteor can kill us any time it wants to. Hold on as this s*** is going to get real and there is absolutely nothing us minions will do or can do about it.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
