He is very happy to label me sub-human and warped. I have asked him questions about his attitude towards Israel and Jews, seeing as how he is now no longer posting items about the conflict in Gaza but also about wedding protests in Israel. This and his other postings have the feeling of an agenda that goes beyond the rights and wrongs of the Gaza conflict. I am sure you have an answer for this which insinuates that I am chucking mud and Kermit is sweetness and light.

I'm not Jewish and have no reason to support Israel over and above anyone else. However, I would describe some of the posts in the thread as snti-semitic in their tone and bias (though not really by Nick or Kermit). It is to be noted however that neither Nick or Kermit have countered some posts that could be described as heavily anti Israeli or....I would describe as having an anti semetic tone....The fact that these posts are only countered by a few....and never by the 'usual suspects' speaks with a voice of its own. Sometimes, perhaps better to be one eyed than half brained. I'll leave you to carry on arguing with whomever (if anyone) wants to pick your ball up. I've put my point and that's enough for now. Back to the new manager thread/s!

As for defending Hamas- who has defended Hamas? A few have said they can see why Hamas fire rockets because the blockade is not being lifted. That's not the same as condoning, that's just showing understanding of underlying causes.

Without wishing to get caught up in the crossfire I have no sympathy for the Palestinians because they choose to support Hamas who in turn repay them by firing rockets from populated areas knowing that Israel will retaliate. Just the same as the Taliban firing on British troops in Afghanistan with kids around them acting as human shields. The only difference is our rules of engagement get our soldiers killed and the Israelis say fcuk that and hit back harder. If the Palestinians want my sympathy for their cause they will ditch Hamas and their rockets and come to the bargaining table prepared to negotiate for peace. Otherwise Israel can continue to retaliate any acts of aggression for my money and those injured/maimed or killed are simply casualties of war.
