It doesn't take much to turn a club from being safe to one that struggles.
We all know about our first seven games, injuries blah blah, but throughout all that there was still a team spirit that would see us not lose by many goals or nick a point from games.
We have to keep that, so this summer is going to be the most crucial one since we got promoted.
The team that starts next seasons first game needs to keep the dna of what we have already but with a few replacements.
I would be more concerned about who we keep and the shape of our team so that the new players fit into the team rather than changing too much to accomodate new players.
I would like our defence to be a little more disiplined in as far as making correct decisions.Wether this can be achieved with a John Terry like defender who has the presence about him to marshall our defence or to have enough defenders of quality so that if players dont do what they should then they can be dropped.

Neither the player nor the club have given any indication that Zaha is going anywhere, so let's at least wait and see if there are any offers first. Roy has a further year to run on his contract, and he's 71 at the start of next season, so it's unlikely that he'll be part of our long-term future.
