I think life-long fan is commendable for footballers in this day and age but exactly what we don't need at this point in time. It's January and we are in the relegation zone. Can we really afford this to be a news story in a month or two's time : "Jenkinson has to be dropped because he's low on morale since move from Arsenal". If he's going to come here and sulk about not being an Arsenal player, I hardly think he's going to drag us out of relegation. Ward for all his limitations will at least be sad if we go down. He may even be in our Championship squad next season.

I think life-long fan is commendable for footballers in this day and age but exactly what we don't need at this point in time.

It's January and we are in the relegation zone. Can we really afford this to be a news story in a month or two's time : "Jenkinson has to be dropped because he's low on morale since move from Arsenal".

If he's going to come here and sulk about not being an Arsenal player, I hardly think he's going to drag us out of relegation.

Ward for all his limitations will at least be sad if we go down. He may even be in our Championship squad next season.

One of the sports news channels stated he wanted permant move and Palace did not want this so he then offered to have future trnasfer included at end of the season which Palace turned down so he said no deal

According to today's Times the likelihood of Jenkinson signing is currently 90%., alongside that they have our chances of PVA at 80% and Defoe at 60%. All sounds a little unlikely but Moyes needs a warchest from somewhere..... The last one on the list of any interest was Cabaye to Marseille at 100%. As a job lot, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
