I don't get how 24 is young? Sterling and Bernardo shouldn't be in it. Bernado is 25 this year! I don't think Declan Rice or Rashford should be in it either. Oh well, the less praise he gets the more likely we are to keep him? Edited by DeanMiles (21 Apr 2019 1.51pm)
I am ready, are you? Sheffield here we come. |

If we lose Zaha and Aaron we'll be fighting relegation again next season. If the club have any sense at all (Pardew didn't) they'll have a word with Newcastle (I believe Gayle is still on their books) and get him back. That Pratt Pardew should never have sold him. Aaron is the best thing we've had in defence for years and at last we have a decent keeper. As for Benteke. I would have sold him off 2 seasons ago. Lazy & useless couldn't score in a brothel. A complete waste of money. Murray was the one not Gayle that he stupidly refused to play and let go, Gayle was too easily wound up by defenders in this league, Murray gets stuck in and doesn't care about that and knows exactly where to be in the box and even today if with us and all the chaos created by Zaha and Townsend would be banging them in and we wouldn't have needed Benteke! ..Pardew was an egotistical nutter and cost this club an absolute fortune in wasted finances.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'An insult to Wan-Bisaka' by Midlands Eagle AWB has a huge amount of work to do on his passing. At key moments, it's often not quite good enough. He can achieve this at Palace.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

'Wan-Bissaka should be in PFA team of the year So say Alan Shearer and JF Hasselbaink. I literally fell upon this. Scroll down from all the nonsense about Pogba etc. Quite incredible that our AWB is named not once but twice! I bumped into an old work mate who is a minor football agent at a retirement do earlier tonight. He seems to think AWB will end at either Spurs or Arsenal. I hope not. This post has been merged from a topic called 'An insult to Wan-Bisaka' by Midlands Eagle Yep we all know he should... but he plays for Palace... That's why he's not in it.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

In the old days the players would have to accept any decision or be faced being left out of the usual first 11, training with the reserves or kids etc. Clubs can’t afford to do that now and there’s risk tobthe value of their asset. In this case his asset value is likely to increase as he learns more, as long as he doesn’t get injured. In the case of Wilf I see his value dropping at some point in the near future. I don’t see many of our players objecting to moving to a bigger club anyway and nowadays the money in the next contract makes most of the decision for them. Maybe not in AWB’s case at this age but it ends up being true.

Not named in England preliminary squad despite being Europe's top tackler. I'm not really seeing what plenty of players have done to deserve their places.
