I guess this is the danger of people replying without reading the full post. The chronology goes a little like this:

The OP says that he can't wait [for us to lose and] for FdB to get sacked (on Sunday) and that he would prefer Hoddle.

I say the fact that people who would hope that we would lose, or would prefer Hoddle speaks volumes [about those people].

Someone else says that no-one has said that, I made it up. I refer back to the OP where I got it from.

Two people then have a go at me for suggesting that Hoddle should be preferred, saying that I am either "deluded" or "in the same loony bin as Hoddle". That is the point that I made in my first post, absent the non-PC, derogatory reference to people with mental health issues.

Hope you can both now focus your ire in the right direction, especially as I fundamentally agree with what you both say.

It was Hoddle who dramatically changed the style of Swindon to a more passing game and he got them promoted to the PL.He was actually playing for them at the time, I think as a 'Sweeper'.But this was done in the lower divisions and not the top flight.

He is now sacked after this. Scott Dann has cost him his p45 with that open goal to aim at.
