I'm sure life is out there, but the question of visitation is somewhat different.
For a start, it is not a given that UFOs are actually alien.
If you accept the evidence as presented, they seem to be interested in historical events like the Moon landings and our nuclear development. Perhaps they are from the future and maybe future human. Perhaps a lot of what we see is our own technology that is top secret, but perhaps created using alien technology that we have acquired.
In the end, the possibilities are endless, but I'm sure the phenomenon is real, although it is quite possible that the government use 'aliens' to cover for secret tests etc, but that doesn't really explain all the occurrences.

It's all very interesting and entertaining anyway.

It's good for a laugh.
I suppose that if you believe in the visitation of ETs then you have to at leat consider some of the claims in Ancient Aliens.
I have more of a problem with the shows where they search for something that they never find.
As if it wouldn't be headline news if someone found a Bigfoot

my mates older brother, had a girlfriend we used to call 'bigfoot'.
a brute of a scots girl, about 6ft and 200plus lb with great big size 10 hairy feet.
scary.
