How can a player (Olise) be just awful 1st half, then unplayable 2nd half? Amazing stuff from the whole team and I would not mind seeing Johnstone remaining in goal. He saved us big-time first 45.

We looked so fluent in second half but had to battle in the first and hang in there. What happened to Leeds? - their performance from the first half to the second half was unbelievable. They worked hard and denied us time and space on the ball for all the first half and then it was like they did not turn up in the second.

It was one of those games where every mistake we made literally got punished. Patrick Bamford Strange, I could have sworn we had one or two chances we didn’t put away.

We missed him first half, today clearly showed what can happen when when the rest of our squad pull their socks up to his level.

Well, well, well. Didn't see that coming, even at HT. A superb second half display, some delightful goals, sublime pieces of skill and woeful Leeds defending. A lovely Easter gift. Just wish Olise's incredible run had finished in a goal but I can't get too greedy. Royball 2.0 is turning out to be a little more entertaining than I was expecting!! Well done to all those involved. What has happened to Roy? The former Roy would have parked the bus when we got to 2-1. Who cares! I admit I groaned and moaned when Roy was brought back. As usual I was wrong. That 2nd half performance was sensational. The moral in the team must be in the stratosphere. I dunno what Roy has done but it's a bl00dy miracle.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
