Wardie was on 5live sport’s Friday Night Social this evening. He was asked what the difference was when Roy came in and said he gave them clarity in terms of their roles and suddenly the team had a structure and organisation. That allowed the flair players like Eze and Olise to exploit the pockets of space they created. He was also asked what it’s like playing against Eze and Olise in training. His answer was he avoids them as much as possible because he ends up on his backside. Final noteworthy comment was that Jeff Lerma can jump higher than anyone and is great to have in front of you at corners.

I believe he was asked about more outgoings and he said only if something mega happens. Doesn’t mean we won’t sign anyone. Roy is clearly under the impression the club are still in the market for a some late deals.

2. We need to provide a pathway for the academy. Expect a number of u21s to be included in our First team squad come September.

Is there anything in Dennis from Forest or is it purely a rumour? I've seen on a very unreliable website we've bid £20 million for him...obviously I'd support anyone who comes through the door, it's a but underwhelming from the likes of Eddie NK & Balogan at Arsenal!

I read somewhere in the £50m’s each. That takes them right out of our range.

I reckon that rather than buying a 20 goal a season striker we need to get our front 3 averaging 8 to 10 goals each. No reason why they can’t do that considering 2 of them take our free kicks.
