Agree, I think you have to take into consideration the team he is playing in. Personally I like him, full of energy, can pass, likes a tackle and seems to always be available in opponents box. What’s not to like

I would have him in a shot. We can't expect him to be the finished article. He's young, has shown a lot of promise at times this season. He could be our key midfielder for years to come, if we get him and are allowed by the big boys to keep him..

Look if we just big up a bit, we've got a great squad already. We need a top new manager and a top attacking midfielder. Put them in the mix and we are good enough to do what West Ham are doing. Someone like Decklan Rice and Moyes would transform us. Spend £50-70m and we are in. Josh Harris has got billions. He can't take it with him. Personally I've yet to see any evidence that Gallacher is a premier league standard player, let alone a good one. Admittedly I've not watched much of West Brom this season, but in the two games we played against them I wasn't blown away by the youngster. Far from it in fact. Yes he's young, and from a top club academy, and English. But those three things tend to make a player hugely expensive for no real reason. There must be a 30 year old holding midfielder on a free transfer we can go for instead......

Personally I've yet to see any evidence that Gallacher is a premier league standard player, let alone a good one. Admittedly I've not watched much of West Brom this season, but in the two games we played against them I wasn't blown away by the youngster. Far from it in fact.

Yes he's young, and from a top club academy, and English. But those three things tend to make a player hugely expensive for no real reason.

There must be a 30 year old holding midfielder on a free transfer we can go for instead......

He has played regularly for W B , this season, that tells you he hasn’t let them down. As for the weekend I enjoyed some of his little clashes with Wilf. Over all he didn’t do much wrong. If not spectacular. He and his mid field partners were never over whelmed , So not a bad day , just couldn’t get anything going in our penalty box.
Definitely one of the best under twenty ones in England, and certainly has the ability to improve us.
