They have improved, but we still look far too fragile, and I am not sure he can fix that. As such, I don't see further improvements at the back with him in charge. His teams have always shipped goals, and that fact does not make me think he can tighten things up much more than he has.

If we got in a good full back and a proper defensive midfielder, early in the window, he might have a chance. But with the players we have, I just don't see the needed improvements happening.

I suspect that SP is waiting for the window before he makes a decision on AP. As such, I hope for AP and the club that he has players lined up to come in ASAP.

Dont kid yourself, Went with a Chelsea fan, said they didnt play to well today but he wasn't worried. As soon as they went a goal up the game was finished. I blame Dann for The goal should have done a lot better than just giving Costa a cuddle as he nodded the ball in.

Mr Asian Eagle.... unsure how long you have been supporting Palace ( me 40 years so your egg comment is probably off the mark a tad), nevertheless, i like many here and abroad are equally frustrated with our position, however let's put things in context.... we have several injuries and a squad that is to be argued -paper thin with little options...... take a look at our bench today ! We have lost against the league leaders that are now 9 points clear and by the looks will win the title in a canter..... we have not been smashed all over the park like it seems you may have predicted that we would. I'm not a massive fan of Pardew but there are few options available to us and the performance over the past 4 matches is showing signs of improvement so I'm not blind either. We have also had no luck whatsoever this season. Pards does not look to have lost the dressing room as the boys are definitely playing for him so take a breath, and hope we continue to improve over the next couple of games... if not you may well get your wish and Pards will be gone. Personally the defensive errors in our side this season are not all Pardews fault, most have been individual mistakes and Alan can't be blamed for that. Maybe pray like the rest of us that Big Ben does not get crocked as we have no other striker and then we will be in serious trouble. Be positive Mr Asian Eagle... go on do yourself a favour.. and us as well !
