Very much so. He doesn't have to agree personal terms - or sign the agreement. It will depend on how much he wants to actually play football. It'll be obvious that we're happy to sell him, therefore no longer in our future plans. But he's well within his rights to turn it down and either warm the bench or fight for a place in the team until his current contract expires.
