Frankly I don't care what the rest of the world thinks about the BBC and the UK. Why am I shelling out £150pa just so I can feel good that hopefully the rest of the world like us (mainly they don't).

Not paying for the BBC licence and and not watching live TV has felt like a minor conservative win.....far more than the Conservatives have given us their base once they were given an 80 seat majority. Obviously if someone is a social liberal then the BBC represents good value for money.....if you are anything else it's almost an insult.
