Anyone else can have for 80'85 mins instead of Benteke ?

Crap second half. First 30 mins of match looked good. A really flukey goal by them and we missed 3 good chances. I don't think the conditions helped us very much but those chances weren't changed by the conditions. We need to be far more lethal with our finishing and have a ref who is competent as this one was a w*nker of the highest order.

Lessons to be learnt but not a disaster.

We don't take our gilt-edged chances and their winner is a fluke goal which was intended as a cross.

Very disappointing second half.Is it me or has Townsend lost a yard of pace ? Doesn't seem to have that extra burst of pace.I accept he isn't a defender but for both goals the player out wide got past him far too easily.
And Milojevic was well below his best.

As for our 'Target man' Benteke - his goals to games ratio tells all.I'm not going to raise my blood pressure and get into a lather about him.

Our passing and possession is beyond s***.

We get the ball, stand in one spot with it, and either kick it backwards, or kick it straight to a Watford player.

No one could get the ball to Zaha the entire game.

We need someone capable of possession in the midfield. Hopefully Meyer.

We also missed AWB, because he's one of the only players we have capable of advancing the ball upfield.

Our corners suck too. What happened to Luka taking them?

How was it Hennesseys fault? He is around 6ft 5 and was in the correct position for a cross or shot. He stretched all of that height and it was a flukey hit by their player that 99/100 would have gone sailing over the bar. No keeper would have saved it.

Was watching the game live from Thailand. Every time camera focused on Roy during those horrible first 20 minutes of 2nd half, he seemed lost in space.
How long can Benteke be in the starting line-up? And then unproven Sørloth last 10 min with a goalsnatcher like Ayew on the bench?
At least Max Meyer proved he is (more than) ready to fasten Schlupp to the bench.
And hopefully Wan-Bissaka avoid more red cards.....
