Got what we deserved... You cannot turn in a second half performance like that and expect to get something. Poorest I've seen us play for a long time. Hennessey has to take blame for the 2nd goal. Our passing today was atrocious. I say it every week so will say it again.. Benteke is just so s***... Anyone who says 'He just needs a goal for his confidence' needs to wake up... He's f***ing rubbish. Watford are a good side but we made the look a lot better than they are.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Roy really needs to work on his strategy. He needed to make changes about a couple of minutes after the 1st goal. We were being dominated in the 2nd half. Sorloth on the 85th? Too little, too late. Benteke was fringe again, and scuffed the chances he had. We were missing AWB and Tomkins this match, but there WERE options on the bench. Why didn't Roy use them? Why more of the same style (Benteke for Sorloth), and why so late? Luka should have been subbed, and Benteke much earlier.

CAn not believe we lost today. Watford are a disgrace however we had the chances to win the game.

Got what we deserved based on that 2nd half performance just not good enough. We have wasted a great opportunity here as Watford were poor, why we dont give Ayew a game I do not know. Really pissed off & dissapointed again.

No there won’t! The red saw it and awarded a yellow so I don’t think they can review that. Clear red card in my view. Indeed. Watford clearly instructed to go out and deliberately try to injure Wilf, seeing that right at the start of the game. We should be able to lodge some sort of complaint.

Changes made too late as usual. Zaha should only ever be on wings. Benteke should never play for us again. Joel Ward is a waste of space now- 2 goals from his side and a missed open goal. Awful day and am royally pissed off

He should have acted much sooner. Yes, we were (are) very wasteful, but we were inviting far too much pressure in the 2nd half, and that led to the goals.

We have the three best chances of the game. Their first was scored by someone who should have been sent off, and their second was a total fluke. Ward's last-second miss was sickening.
