Not sure what the scouting department have done this year since July 1st when they signed Jefferson Lerma (who was a very shrewd free signing). What do they do when they get to their desks every morning? Make a nice cup of tea, check BBC Sport, go to the loo, think about what to have for lunch, go and get lunch, have a cup of coffee, look out the window, check their emails, think about what to have for dinner and then before you know it, it's home time and they've been so busy they haven't had time to identify which areas of our team need strengthening and any players that might fit the bill. So many packed days for them to get through between the end of the Summer transfer window and now. Poor them, they must have been just so busy not to have identified anyone available and useful we can actually bring in.

I think at 12-1 we're pretty good value to get relegated, especially if Olise's hamstring continues to play up throughout the rest of the season.

Talk of West Han after Smith-Rowe and Gnonto as well as Phillips
The former must be desperate for action and would be so much better than Hughes as sub/backup to Eze.
I wanted Palace to sign the latter (or one or two of other Leeds attacking players) as a replacement for Zaha. He has been a regular for Leeds but only scored one goal

I also think Smith-Rowe would be excellent for us, Croydon boy too? But sadly not linked with him. He'd be similar to the Gallagher role though under Viera and we'd still likely need anther defensive midfielder.

Almost three weeks gone since window opened and I cannot recall any signings to date.
Assume all our activity will take place towards the end of the window,if at all,given the reported unrest in the Boardroom.
