I am sick and tired of constant tedious infuriating questions being asked by the media and today Raab should have told them succinctly that at the stated 3 week date the lockdown would be reviewed and the decision to alter or keep would be made then. The basis of that decision would be made on the science.
If we relax too early this could trigger more cases and with it more deaths.

Also stop being soft with people who flaunt the lockdown and constantly questioning the Police actions.

I witnessed pictures tonight of Police in Madrid who setup road blocks to stop vehicles and request that the occupants have documentation to prove their journey has been necessary.Perhaps this also occurs outside of the major cities.

Or we could prolong the pain for all.

Who benefits from these ''lockdown measures'' regarding a germ that in the grand scheme has caused less damage than many that we've witnessed previously?

The random people sitting at home in lockdown that could’ve come down with the disease or anything else that the NHS didn’t have the capacity or resources to deal with. I expect there are lots of people, or their female partners, thinking they’d rather not take their chances than earn over the £2,500 monthly handout. Obviously this overall sum will have to come from somewhere, unless MMT is the saviour.

It would’ve killed more people and carried on spreading and killing, and not just Coronavirus sufferers.

A couple of weeks ago I was seeing obvious tradesmen wearing serious masks and therefore although they’re p1ssed they’re not making £5,000 a month and more a month they recognise there’s a real risk.

Does your risk influence your thinking? I wouldn’t know. I suspect all the tory MPs saying there’s been a massive overreaction live half a mile from their next neighbour.

An interesting thing I heard the other day was South Korea isolated the first 30 infected Coronavirus cases and it didn’t dopant further. The 31st they didn’t isolate or she lied or slipped out of scrutiny because, moved about and that 31st person was responsible for 4,000 cases.

Once again, ''Who benefits''?

Or someone in your family could get it in a few weeks and die. Or have something else and be in pain.

I know that in previous times in my life I wouldn’t have been that concerned about it but times and circumstances change. Plus can you imagine loads of fit and healthy 45 years and below people dying because there isn’t the equipment to keep them breathing? Even Donald Trump went from let it ride its course to ‘’s*** Brad, we need to get on this muther fvcker.’’

I’ve answered. It isn’t a monetary benefit.

I am glad and lucky I had the heart op cancellation slot in mid December or I’d be sh1tting it right now. I wouldn’t want to be the person who cancelled and went away in mid December. If I had what I had a while back now I’d be in a pretty bad way and if I got Coronavirus I’d be dead within days, without a doubt. Being ill in hospital wakes you up to the seriousness of this. I’ve gone into work in perfect environments with fit people who’d look and think the fuss is over nothing. When you actually have been at risk or thought your life was never going to be the same or worse then it makes you realise that health and life is more important and irreplaceable.

Sorry if i missed that.
But yes, it is completely a monetary benefit.....just not to the general population. As usual.

Maybe the massive MMT stimulus won't be such a disaster as most are skint now and so spending will be down leading to reduced inflation or even deflation....mind you I remember reading deflation wasn't a good thing.

Still...the debt balance sheet has been made much worse....and there's the probability of a world recession unless Trump works some magic.

I haven't a clue of course....but here's hoping.

You would think that something has to be done about this level of debt...it can't go on and on....But this is what all the pension funds are living off.
