Well quite obvious.
When Dowie came to Palace he motivated an under performing squad and helped get them promoted.
When it come to purchasing talent to improve that team he failed.
Failed at Charlton and is now no longer managing.

Wrong; Ventola played in the penultimate game of the season, against Southampton at home, scoring the second Palace goal in the 2-2 draw. Wrong; Ventola played in the penultimate game of the season, against Southampton at home, scoring the second Palace goal in the 2-2 draw. A point that would have kept us up if we hadn't drawn with the Clowns in the final game.
