Shelleyan Orphan. Late 80's easy listening Indie with violins. Stunning first album (Helleborine) that I doubt I'll ever tire of. Shelleyan Orphan - Jeremiah Thomas Lang. Possibly a bit MOR for some but this bloke was the support on my first live gig (so, in effect, my first live act), had some tv exposure in the late 80's but never really took off.
