I'd go as far as to say that if we get this guy our season is saved. I think we should buy a foreign goalie as well. Hennessey has consistently shown he's not up for it - prefer Speroni until we get the replacements. Hope Sam gets Evra too and whatever whoever else we need.

This would be a great signing, but I have my doubts about it happening. He only signed a four year contract three months ago for a start. I hope this isn't just The Sun going Sunderland + Allardyce + Palace - Jedinak = Ibborra, because it does sound a bit that way.

Totally get what your saying as to Why but the answer is simply Prem League.... Every player wants to prove themsel at a higher level and if he is as good as people think and also as good as he thinks then I do believe he will come to us and show his skills in the best league in the world Originally posted by slubglurge
Complete rubbish. His team have just beaten Real Madrid to go 2nd in the table and by what i saw on TV they have a fantastic team spirit and are as one with their fans. Why would he want to come to us when we are currently a basket case

Don't get me wrong, it'd be a great move for us, but it really doesn't seem credible and I suspect is either The Sun putting two and two together and getting five or an agent trying to flush out a 'bigger' PL club.

We do know that Palace are fishing in continental waters now, because of UK player prices, so we can but hope....
