Just love all this media talk.
There is no way this lad is coming to Selhurst Park.
The old days were the best you woke up and read in the paper that Palace had sold Bill Glazier to Coventry for then a record fee £35,000 for a Goaly.

He'll be much more likely to go to Hull, their new manager was at Olympiakos. Agent talk to drive up wages. Won't happen.

Looks promising, and hopefully personal terms wouldnt be too much of a problem, BUT he would still have to adjust to the intensity of the PL etc, not easy

I am reliably informed by an avid olympiakos fan that he has been their best player this season, but he is very defensive, do not expect a goals or assists.

And yet he's scored 5 goals in the first half of the season.

My guess is that if we buy him then Cabaye will be sold to fund the deal

I'd prefer it to be Townsend; Cabaye could still do well here with an intelligent and mobile defensive-mid operating behind him.

Does SA even know who Cabaye is? He called him Kabul in one of his press conferences so I can imagine him not being too bothered about selling him.

I agree though I would rather we sold Townsend.

Yes they don't go in for fiction and get transfer speculation right more than other printed press. That's a recorded fact we recently saw.
