"mindless religious people". People believe in all sorts of things - some even believe in socialist economics. As for the posts about being 'judgemental', we are judgemental every day of our lives, and a good thing too, would be chaos if we did not make judgements about all sorts of things and act accordingly. Not to say that sometimes our judgements are wrong.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

Of course some Christians don't believe in the afterlife. Can you imagine the amount of foreigners in Heaven? No thank you.

Interesting discussion and the Bible clearly states that the dead no nothing at all, suggesting no such thing as an afterlife.
Many religious Jews believe in the 'resurrection of the dead' at a much later time after death. They refer to it as the 'Olam Ha-Ba' which is in Hebrew (the World to Come)....That's there kind of afterlife. It's when the messiah brings back the righteous dead to experience a perfect world.....Of course the not so nice stay dead. And presumably no hippy tree hugging outings for Jesus and his mates in that afterlife. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Apr 2017 9.06pm)
