The top ten from tests the Pisa tests on school children for maths performance from a few years back is as follows. Pretty much all the maths results over recent years taken by Pisa show the same Asian dominance in this field. 1. Shanghai (China) Of course it's always a stereotype when it's assumed that 'if you're Asian, you are good at maths'....but it's not a stereotype that the best maths performances come from Asian schools. When maths is combined with other subjects the tables will alter a bit with variations over the years but if we just focus on maths.....Asian schools deserve their repuration. That said I want to give a shout out to Scandinavian schools who operate a purely comprehensive system that covers the lowest and highest yet still produces amazing results. That's without the stress and sociological pressures that is typically associated with the more 'ruthless' Asian culture....to use a stereotype.

I think you'll find the left were seeing if botched interviews are dealt with in the same way. The Abbott thread grew much more quickly with people itching to put the boot in.
