Palace in shock double swoop for Neymar and Ronaldo, but can't afford them due to FPP, so they're in talks with Jedinak and Murray More likely to be Benson and Hedges or perhaps a deadline day swoop for Nigel Martyn ?

It may just be me but I haven't heard much transfer news about us recently? Is there any ? I have found it to be quite the opposite from the numerous links on the Holmesdale.net to English and foreign newspapers and football websites but, alas, no substantive action arising from any of them.

Latest is that John Terry has been speaking with FDB about coming to Palace as he thinks he has made a right ricket going to the Villa and didn't realise that they all talk funny up there and plus he wants to be near his besties at Chelsea.

PALACE IN DOUBLE SWOOP FOR BRIAN DEANE AND GARY BENNETT Crystal Palace boss Frank De Boer is lineing up a combined £252 bid for Sheffield United hot shot Brian Deane and Sunderland hardman Gary Bennett ahead of the new Premier League season. De Boer sees Deane as the perfect answer to his striking options having released Frazier Campbell for £29p and Connor out with a long term injury until 2025. Bennett, a long time target of De Boer. Is the ball playing centre back the Dutchman is seeking as he seeks to implement the Ajax 'total football' philosophy at Palace. He is an admirer of both players but it remains to be seen whether United would be willing to sell; having placed a valuation of £178 million on Deane.
