Many of us on HOL were dubious of him ever actually competing the " deal " and becoming a Palace player.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Who really knows, it's just a report, how many of those turn out to be accurate.

Having said that, we need another top quality goalkeeper. I do like Wayne but we need a goalie to keep him as our second choice. I know I'm just stating the obvious really.

I heard that Roy wants Pope. If true, I wouldn't be unhappy with that and I think we could get him with a bit of effort. Whatever happens, I think that who we get in goal will define our next season. It's so important and we have been blessed with some great goalkeepers at this club, my fav of all time being Nigel Martin, the first ever million pound goalkeeper when he came here, I believe.

I hope Guaita comes but if not, we must get someone decent to push Wayne as I believe we actually have a first team that on paper is one of the best I have seen since I have been supporting The wonder that is Palace..
