You can change your bank to a mutual or building society if you can find one.

I find it odd that people lose their sh1t over bank bonuses but don't say a word about the obscene amounts that , oh let me see, footballers are paid.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I was doing their job 10 yrs ago and used to take home about £950 a month. Bearing in mind in the 10 years since, pay rises have never been over 1.5%, that figure would be about right. Maybe 1.2K tops.

I can't speak for Cryst, but as far as I'm concerned, refusing to work as a means to force a pay rise would never get my support. Strikes always seem futile to me.

I like what the Japanese railway workers do to put pressure on their bosses. They simply continue to operate an extremely punctual and efficient service, but let passengers travel without charging them. That's the way to do it.

You couldn"t make it up! Of course some will argue- are there no night shifts going in factories? Are there no out of hours cleaning jobs in hospitals? Could they get another £15 a week by getting up a couple of hours earlier and doing a paper round? Are they the same people who get take aways? smoke? drink the odd glass of wine?
