I believe what I heard a couple of years ago reflected his goalscoring record over the period of his career and not just the most recent period.Up to that time he did have a number of 'Loan' spells at clubs so perhaps the lack of continuity with one club affected his goalscoring prowess.

I've probably seen bolasie and zaha play couple of hundred times between them. Have never seen them hit a ball like I did from the away end at St James Park When Townsend smashed in the free kick last season.
