Typically you will find rightie's having a pop at Biden but how can anyone with a sound mind support the "Disinfectant" President or even more basically grasp that most of the people you argue about in both the UK and USA are truth benders on a par with used car salesmen and estate agents.

Most Politicians are useless nowadays wherever they are in the World.
My friends in the USA are not necessarily Trump supporters but they say that voting for Biden would be the worst of the two options by a long chalk and given that State by state and City by City they pretty much do their own thing then it is all about the bigger picture and Trump is a better option for the next 4 years.
Take this - [Link]
You didn't hear much about that in the media last week whilst Biden and friends played beat up Donald at the DNC.
Biden would be a waste of time and might mysteriously fall gravely ill immediately after he wins which may allow someone else in??
I am not sure how the USA system works to be honest

Apparently Mayor Lightfoot also has a massive Police presence at her home - and I mean big - whilst they are stretched trying to keep law and order which she doesn't give a jot about - and guess what - mainstream media are not reporting the bad stuff in a Democratic run City - one of the biggest and most important in the USA.
Even our lot are marginally better than she is!

Trump has always been the lesser of two evils.

And by some considerable margin.

Trumps a cynical b****** with a mean no streak and a temper that's it despite that he has a history of helping people improve their lives and has done a whole lot more charity work then most he believes in the American dream for all but you got to work for it. Democrats on the other hand are just pure evil they destroy everything they touch then smile at you and give smug speeches about world peace. Bush was destroyed for iraq (rightly so) Obama won a Nobel peace prize whilst dropping more bombs and meddling In international affairs destroying libya and maintaining heavy prescense in afganistan. Worse then both bushes combined on that front. Also Trump takes out sulimani an evil man responsible for deaths of Brits and americans he is slandered. Obama takes out bin laden and is praised fair enough the guy had to go but the double standards are nauseating.

I quite like trump to be honest! I just think the media hate him and report on him in thier own way!

the likes of obama was a yes man and said yes to everything but trump has the balls to say no to people.

Just my opinion anyway!

It's 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' because he's not a globalist....or at least not in the fashion that the cabal of media, academics, state officials and Democrats want .....that said you also have to say that the Democrats say this about every president.....From Bush Snr it's been the same story.

Certain posters on Hol have supported conspiracy theories and believed all the fake news around swallowing it hook line and sinker.

But you point about Trump improving lives is important....From the time he played a significant role in turning New York around in the late seventies to the economy he built before this virus Trump's affect has been positive.....He's provided jobs whereas others have provided warm words.

I'm still waiting for Trump to be indicted on the Russian interference in the last election.

A certain person on here kept telling us it was nailed on he was guilty and then it became the Democrats are biding their time and then, well we don't hear a lot from him these days.

Trump's brash, unappologetic, and decisive. He gives great sound bites and makes sure the media is always talking about him. I don't agree with him on many issues, but people like a politician who shows genuine passion.

The days of well polished and evasive politians seem to be over.

Joe Biden is a terrible candidate, possibly worse than Hilary. I have a feeling that the American voter is going to give the democrats a kick in, like how Corbyn & labour were hammered at the last election.

Biden's campaign will centre around how he's not Trump. They'll make the republican party and it's voters out to be the nasty party. Labour failed in 2019 and the Tories in 1997 by following exactly this negative campaign stratergy.

His tag lines are terrible "Build back better" and "the battle for the soul of the nation". Not really what people who believe they live in the greatest nation on earth want to hear.

Reminds me a bit of that terrible IDS quote "Never underestimate the determination of a quiet man" or Milliband's "Hell yeah in toffee nuts".

The Democrats need to lose heavily in order to kick out all the people holding power in the party and go back to listening to what voters want.

You won't be hearing a lot because I have had my fill of the group of self-important, right-wingers seeking confirmation of their biases who hang out here. It's just sad to find it on the site which has given me so much information over the years on the team I have loved for over 60 years. It leaves a very nasty taste and discourages me to visit.

On this subject though I trust you won't have too much longer to wait. If Biden wins then the NY AG will surely turn the spotlight not just on the Trump organisation but onto Trump himself. It's my understanding that indictments are already in place, but sealed until he leaves office.

He was impeached but escaped justice solely because of the Republican majority in the house. Mueller eviscerated him, but Barr whitewashed his report away from public view. His time is coming and Biden won't pardon him.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Maybe it's the mask.

Oh wait...
