Sorry I should have said, that is exactly the reason we need players like Riedewald to be able to pass rather than just hack players down.

Massive 3 points today to stop us getting dragged into a relegation scrap. Il apologise to Roy as when I seen the team sheet I thought he was going to line us up in 4-4-2, so it was nice he changed it around. It was a strange game and one we should have won comfortably but ended up giving them chances to nick a point. I honestly have no idea how Batshauyi managed to stay on the pitch for as long as he did. The chap offers nothing and why should when he will be back to Chelsea in the summer and then loaned out again to some other mug of a team who are desperate, PVA looked a lot better today, he had a rough time against Traore’s pace but so does every full back. Riedewald done well when he came on but I think beyond his 5 yard passes he doesn’t offer much else so it will be interesting to see if he keeps the spot.

Don't play 3 holding midfields and don't play 4-4-2. It's taken him at least 18 months to make the change that suits our players. It's not good enough. If he'd played 4-4-2 we'd have lost and he might have finally lost his job. If he sets up like this til the end of the season then their will be less people calling for his head straight away, including me, but its taken him far too long to work it out. But we only signed a no10 (Eze) this summer. There's no such thing as a good formation, only one that suits your players. We played with three defensive midfielders last year because our best XI included them. Now it doesn't so we don't.

They sat off because we struggle to pass and move when moving forwards with the ball, teams just have to wait for mistakes which we consistently make, Wolves were just lacking the ability to have someone waiting in the box, they had enough reasonable opportunities today, Wolves have no problems moving forward with pace. They sat off us because that's how they play. You've only got to watch them a few times to see how conservative they are. They didn't have some special plan for playing against us today because they've concluded that we are extra specially useless. It's mostly some of our own fans who have reached that conclusion.

Riedewald should be playing from the start, does the simple things well and doesn’t waste a pass. Provides the perfect cover for the back 4.

Our win had more to do with the inadequacies of Wolves. Mr Hodgson will pass the baton onto our next manager with our club safely secure in this league, why is this so annoying for you? You haven't got to be rude if you post back.

It might be coincidence but today there was no Gary Cahill and we kept a clean sheet, which hasn't been the case when he has started. Personally I think he is well past it, but maybe it is just coincidence.

I really feel we need to build around Zaha and Eze, the confidence they ooze, the skill they have... if we shaw up defence, create space and feed them, like today... it was great to watch..We really need a Jedi type character in the middle, a leader that will almost protect them... a Keane figure... McCarthy has potential.... Zaha and Eze could be lethal... I still say the boat to have sold him has gone. Last summer, when we sold AWB we should have sold Zaha too, I think that was the plan to sell one of the two but AWB came first and parish froze and thought 'we can't sell two in a summer'. But we should have and used the 80 mil to rebuild with 3 new players, trouble is, we didn't have the names in the hat to snap up. Zaha for me, I guess this summer is his last chance saloon but I can't see it being an automatic European club, like the top 4 - I can see, a club like west ham, Everton wanting to build to this year making an offer.. but yeah... Stay here will and be the architect that moves us up.

Put Mateta in the mix with Zaha and Eze and either bats or Ayew and we will be dynamite.
