Stepping outside of the whole Clarkson thing for a minute I think the BBC's main 'problem' (amongst many, is that it try's to be all things to all people (which I know is kind of its Reithian remit) and therefore everybody can find something to moan about or disagree with. The right wing things its left wing, the left wing think its right leaning, its racist / its not racist enough etc etc etc etc If the left think the BBC is right leaning and the right thinks it's left, in a funny kind of way I suppose they're doing their job right.

I like Clarkson but he seems to have descended into a parody of himself. He t***ted someone at work, unfortunately the BBC had absolutley no wiggle room.

Can't see what all the fuss is about, its not like he irreplaceable, he's just a presenter. The tragedy of this is the number of people who think Top Gear is somehow written, directed, produced and researched by three presenters. The BBC should replace him with Nick Griffin, who is probably looking for a job - That way they can replace like with like.

My opinion is that its all going to plan nicely for Clarkson. But the producer who went to A and E for a fat lip, ???? what a massive wet pussey hole. I had a black eye once of my little girl when she was a baby butted me by accident, did I go to A and E did I fcuk as like. Honestly men today are turning into Women.

Indeed Danno - how embarrassing - maybe he also asked that they checked out his v@gina why he was there When I first looked him up he has producing and working credits for 'What not to wear' with Trinny and Susannah. For that alone he needs a good kicking

Two things; you've got to wonder about Clarkson's mental health if he verbally and physically attacked someone over food, and supposedly he went to the producers home after it happened and tried to apologise, but was refused entry. Obviously the first point is no excuse, but you have to wonder whether that's could have all been resolved in a better way without going public. Once it went public, the BBC has no choice but to get rid of him.

What is equally pathetic is the police saying they want to look at it. If two grown men have a row or a fight and neither complain to the police, just keep out of it.
