There are lots of people who have had us down as relegation candidates every season we have been in the PL.

I believe I have done more analysis this season in terms of our squad,injuries and games left and I cannot see any outcome other than relegation.

There are NO positives to be had at all.

The problems is that Palace fans in general are so obsessed with the short term. It’s all about what happens in the immediate future and we refuse to ever look beyond it. If a manager or player does well for a run of games he’s a contender for legendary status. If we’re not doing well we take any analysis of what is actually happenings in games and if we have the right ideas or not out of it.

Getting enough points to stay up all costs is fun. It gives you a few extra years in the top flight. But I say time and time again, the manor in which we do it and the style of football we play is completely unsustainable & if we go down we will literally have nothing to show for the years we’ve been in the PL.

We really are the epitome of short termism.
