Embarrassing as usual against Aussies, I think after the good year or so we’ve had we’ve got a bit arrogant and over confident. The aussies have always been arrogant and full of themselves over the years, but they back it up with their performances

Personally, I doubt we asked for a dead wicket at Edgbaston and the Lord's pitch seems the usual Lord's pitch with a little less movement. Surely England would need green pitches as everyone's medium-fast, fast-medium. One paced attack.

I still can’t get over what happened this morning. So f***ed off. Been so excited about The Ashes for months and it’s basically over after 8 days of cricket due to moronic play.

I don’t mind getting beaten by good bowling but we literally have given every key wicket away by trying to smash everything for 6. Australia couldn’t believe their luck that we kept falling for the same trick. Total embarrassment. Look like idiots after giving it the big one in the build up.

Australia have carefully played themselves in and are cruising now.

Bazball can work, just need to know when to tone it down. The inability to read the situation is baffling. Everyone else can see what’s going on. Stokes should be totally ashamed after today and should consider his future as captain.
