I am not going to get into yet another siding on Brexit and why some people remain unhappy over the process. I'll try just one more time to explain. The point about the US election is that direct voting fraud has been alleged, albeit without evidence, as a reason not to accept the result. Nothing like that, so far as I can recall, has ever happened in the UK on any occasion, Brexit included. So the Brexit "result" (quoting you) has been accepted but the reasons for holding the vote in the first place, the way that Parliament behaved and the consequences haven't. Ok it’s been accepted by everyone? glad to see from your first paragraph, you haven’t lost the ability to patronise Edited by Spiderman (25 Nov 2020 3.50pm)

She is an awful woman. Just an opportunist turncoat who parodies Trump's own politics. Whatever suits the moment and the audience is what is said. Not an ounce of sincerity in either of them. Some might conclude she suffers from an Uncle Tom syndrome.

As you seem to now be confirming by accepting the explanation it was a genuine attempt to explain. A better comparison than Brexit would be a GE. We always accept the result.

I used the confused emoji in response to your reply so haven’t accepted it. Confused because you seem to be saying everyone has accepted it, you must know a hell of a lot of people

Fair amount of whites also suffer from Uncle Tom syndrome from what I've observed......I recently witnessed a pandering exchange on this very thread. As for your characterisation of Owens.....if you want someone who says whatever suits their audience Biden fits right in with your criticism.....the anti immigration Democrat in the nineties, happy to slash programmes when his party wanted....turns into a progressive when his audience changes. Yet apparently that crook is 'ethical'....A guy who lies just as much as Trump does.....and who has been on the take since Obama. Edited by Stirlingsays (25 Nov 2020 4.35pm)

I'm not sure that black people have to live a particular way - or get called an Uncle Tom.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
