It’s all about opinions, I think he was referring to the defending, thought he was fair to Palace and doesn’t he just love Wilf!

Macca unfortunately has had his birth certificate catch up to him. I thought he was very good against Newcastle but he's really a 1 in 3 player now.
I think he still has good value as a late sub but shouldn't start games anymore (or at least starting every game) and definitely can't go a full 90 minutes. IMHO.

To score 5 goals in an away game takes some doing, it doesn’t matter if you are playing against 8,9,10 or 11 players. MacArthur had the task of closing down Gallagher in the second half, which he did well. It is not glamourous but it doesn't mean he is ineffective.
