See they've managed to get Thursdays game away to Everton postponed due to insufficient numbers through illness/injuries & suspension. According to the EPL's site they have 13 players out 2 of which are 1 match suspensions & 1 of those would've been ok for Thurs along with possibly 2 other players returning. As someone has posted elsewhere, just in time for the Jan Transfer Window to open on Sat . . . What a suprise!
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

They have avoided the Everton fixture and will now buy their way up the table with their immense financial clout. All very predictable.

Definitely another bullet dodged, especially at the wages he was demanding.

Southampton complaining about their called off fixture with Newcastle. Rightly in my view. Newcastle are lumping their injuries on top of covid. Injuries are part of the football season. I doubt if we would be able to do the same.

Totally agree, obviously waiting for transfer window to open and injuries to heal. Didn’t we have 10-12 injuries a while back without any help?

Trippier will save them. He doesn't just want a big pay day and retirement package closer to home.

Would be interested to understand the Tripper contract (and any others they sign) Surely signing with them at this point you would want to either get released if you get relegated, or at least have your salary guaranteed.
