The EU though hasn't taken these stupid decisions. Decisions which instead of solving problems and creating growth, cause problems and stifle growth.

The EU face an even bigger energy crisis than us, but not the same level of damage caused by Brexit.

The decisions they've taken have been even more stupid then. Do you concede that our inflation rate is not worse than the EUs?

It is already worse than in most EU countries (there are 27 countries in the EU) and thanks to our unelected PM it will get worse.

The assertion was it's already worse which isn't true.

The EU is not a single economy that sets interest rates, has someone tried to average out the interest rates in EU member countries?

Meaningless comparison

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Newsflash, the UK is a Parliamentary system not a presidential one. You can google this for more information. In simple terms, the general election chooses a party not the prime minister.

The current PM was elected by her constituents as an MP then members of the party as leader.

Hope this clears things up.

Parliamentarians are elected on the policies articulated in their party’s manifesto. When they veer away from the manifesto they have no mandate. Ask Nadeen Dorries.

There has to be more in life than blind allegiance to a political party, regardless of what they do.

A quick update, the opinion polls are an easy read, there are very few Tories left and those that are hide under rocks,so much so they are now a registered endangered species.

Agreed. So all those MPs who got voted in supporting Brexit which was the official party policy of both Labour and Tories and then voted against it.....

Depends on the country ... it's already worse here than in most of our main competitors. I don't know why we are debating the accuracy of the rate because there will always be a lag in statistics. It's a mess irrespective of specifics and it means people will suffer. It's normally the duty of government to control it not add to it.

Merely an attempt to point out that Brexit isn't entirely responsible for the current situation when other countries are in the same position.
