I should clarify that when I said south east Asian, I wasn't thinking of Vietnam or the Philippines.

Most people would realize that this term is mostly used to describe Japanese/Chinese/Singapore/Korean...Hong Kong (which is mainly Han Chinese)..ethnicities that are relatively close to each other.

Obviously not all countries in this region are exact replicates, in the same way that the average native Romanian is a European but a quite different European to a native Swede.

No, they don't. Google defines SE Asia as:-

"Southeast Asia is composed of eleven countries of impressive diversity in religion, culture and history: Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam."

Not Japan. Not China or Hong Kong. SE Asia is a group of counties. Not ethnicities.

Maybe you haven't heard of ASEAN, an organisation intended to begin to replicate the EU in SE Asia.

They are diverse, and not all are safe spaces.

I know the type, imbeciles who have found a desperate younger woman to marry them in hope of a better life, something all too common in that country whether domestic or international

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

ASEAN is very different to the EU

ASEAN is nothing like the EU, there is no EU style commission or the other political trappings . ASEAN does not promulgate any laws.

It is what the EU should have been in many respects

Countries are human made concepts.

Human beings and hence ethnicities are what is important within them. For example, Israel is a state created for Jews....who apparently don't exist as an ethnicity under your worldview.

Essentially, everybody knew what I was referring to when I said south east Asian.

Basically what you typed is a load of waffle and bull, which comprises the vast majority of your output. Only a tiny number of progressives would agree with your opinion....which is yet another reality that knocks out your claim to be a centralist.

if we import Japan, we will become Japan.

and ditto for Haiti & the Dominican Republic.

I'll throw several things in the mix.
Cornwall has previously sought tacit independence from the UK, thus attempting to create new political/national boundaries.
I was born in Cornwall, so might have some Nationalistic claim.
Can I apply to have Wisbech evicted/deported from my County/country of birth as he no longer serves a useful/productive purpose there.?

Some are. Others live alone, frequent the bars, and eke out their pensions in the sun on cheap booze. Others are hiding. From justice, wives or revenge. One I knew was ex-SAS and then became a mercenary. That's at least what he told me. He certainly kept an impressive collection of weapons and knew how to handle them. He had served in Ireland and didn't feel safe back home.

You can have whatever opinion you wish on how countries are made. Not all result from what you describe. However, it just doesn't matter. Counties are. They aren't myths and it's their governments which take the decisions, not the ethnicity of their people.

I don't think anybody knew what you were referring to as it makes no sense whatsoever.

Judaism is a religion, practised by Jews, some of whom live in Israel alongside many of Arabic origins. The creation of the state of Israel after WW2 is no model for comparison with anywhere else. It is unique.

You seem unable, on this and so many other topics, to acknowledge that the world has moved on from the views you hold. Anthropologists reveal new truths, but you, as always, think you know better.

Reflect on the fact that you might be wrong. If that's possible.

Unless we import 60 million of them neither is true. They will become us.

Nor have most of the Cornish. I used to drink with him 20 + years ago. I gave him a joke once. I would tell you, but you don't possess a sense of humour.
